8. Charter Scholarship - University of Georgia, or UGA

This institutional scholarship makes 225 to 275 renewable awards of $1,000 to incoming UGA students annually. All prospective UGA students with admission files completed by December 15 receive automatic consideration. 12. Education Support Professionals for Professional Development Scholarship

DEADLINE: At least 60 days prior to program enrollment

Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning sponsors this scholarship as part of its Bright from the Start initiative to increase the number of professionals with specialized credentials in early care and education. Grants consist of tuition assistance and $500 per-semester support stipends.

Applicants must have/be:

Sponsor Georgia Mining Foundation, or GMF, makes one-time awards of $500 and two-year renewable awards of $1,000 to assist aspiring Georgia geology professionals.
